UPDATE 11 July 2008 - Jacqueline recently had her second surgery to remove tumor growth in her back. The surgery went well, but was much more invasive than they had previously anticipated. Initial scans came back clear, but the third and final scan showed cancer cells in her bone marrow. As a result, Jacqueline will be starting chemo again next week. In the near future, she will be undergoing stem cell treatments, similar to MacKenzie's latest journey.
As with any cancer diagnosis, the financial impact on the family is a constant. Please consider making a donation to the Hobbs family, or better yet, organizing a fundraiser. You can keep up with Jacqueline's progress and leave her an encouraging message on her Caring Bridge site. Please see Jacqueline's page (click on her name to the left) for more information on fundraisers in support of her family.
